Am happy with how fresh this product is when I buy it. I don't use it that often as I usually include onions in my meals but there are certain dishes that need spring onions and they add alot of freshness and flavour. Chinese Noodle Salad and Vegetable Parcels are my two favourites. I also fry them and sprinkle over Dahl. Delicious. They last 1 - 2 weeks in the crisper. I know you can also freeze them.

1. Freshness & Aroma Many reviews say the spring onions are fragrant, with a strong fresh onion smell, which suggests good quality (i.e. recently harvested, with strong flavour). 2. Texture & Useability People like that the onions are fairly thick and easy to slice. The green stalks are usable (not too limp or wilted), which is great for garnish or cooking. 3. Packaging / Convenience • Sliced version: Woolworths sells a “Woolworths Sliced Spring Onion 80g” pack. Convenient for those who don’t want to do prep. • The “Spring Onion Bunch” is a more traditional option: good for people who like to use stalks and tops themselves. 4. Australian Grown Woolworths labels the produce as “Grown in Australia,” which gives confidence in local freshness and shorter transport (potentially better flavour & quality) for many customers. 5. Price The bunch is fairly cheap (around AUD $1.70-$2.00 depending on store / region) for a bunch of spring onions. The sliced version is more expensive per gram—understandable given processing & packaging.
