Fresh spring onions from Woolies. it's pricier than the other local veg shop but the quality is better. I put in a container with water and submerge the roots to make it last longer.

I use spring onions like these ones from Woolworths in a few dishes, and they provide a more delicate taste than bigger onions. In my opinion they also look better in a dish. The only downside is that they can be a bit fiddly to peel.
