I’ve used a fair few different brands of chocolate chips over the years, but Cadbury Baking Milk Chocolate Chips are the ones I keep coming back to. There’s just something about that classic Cadbury milk chocolate flavour—it’s creamy, rich, and instantly recognisable. I usually throw a handful into cookie dough or brownie batter, and they melt just the right amount—soft and gooey inside, but still holding their shape enough to get that satisfying chunk in each bite. Even when I’m just baking for fun or making a quick batch of muffins, these chips make whatever I’m baking taste that bit better. I’ve also caught myself sneaking a few straight out of the bag while baking… they’re that good. And because they’re made with real chocolate (not that weird, waxy stuff some baking chips have), they melt beautifully if I need them for ganache or drizzling over something. The 200g bag is usually enough for a recipe or two, but I tend to buy the bigger pack when I know I’ll be baking more. If you’re after a reliable, delicious chocolate chip that works in just about everything—and tastes amazing on its own—these are definitely worth stocking up on.
