I love the individual cherry ripe bars but this block just isn’t the same. it has all the right components but I guess because there’s more chocolate to filling, it just tastes different. you still get that coconut and dark chocolate hit but the cherries aren’t as plump and juicy. also it’s expensive at full price.

surprisingly i really liked this chocolate. i prefer dark chocolate and love coconut, so my expectations were high. the chewy cherry pieces are subtle but give the chocolate extra texture and glavour. i always keep my chocolate in the fridge as i love to bite little bits off and savour them. ptice is expensive unless you buy on special like i did for half price.

This is definitely the most flavoursome of all dark chocolate, I’m always on the lookout for when it’s on special otherwise its normal price is way too expensive. I’ll only purchase it when it’s on special for $3 or less

The block is the perfect mix of Old Gold 40% dark chocolate and the cherry coconut flavour of a Cherry Ripe. It tastes very similar to Cherry Ripe, but with a bit more emphasis on the chocolate and less on the filling. I don’t like Old Gold or Cherry Ripe on their own but the sweetness of the filling combines with the chocolate in a way that makes it all go so nicely together.

It’s not the same as cherry ripe the textures are very different but the taste is very good - I love the large dark chocolate format of old gold - to me this is a very good but different product from either old gold and cherry ripe. Kind of needs its own brand to me than cherry ripe - love it.

nice but disappointing. I love cherry ripes & I love dark chocolate, so I was expecting this to be amazing, like a giant cherry ripe with extra chocolate. instead I was greeted with a dry coconut rough base with pink cherry flavoured jelly like blobs scattered throughout, with the mound of each piece being plain old gold chocolate. a cherry ripe has soft coconut mixed with the cherry, I was expecting something along this same line to be inside each piece of the block. the picture on the front should have given it away, but my own preconceived ideas had me grabbing this block without any notice of what the package looked like. unfortunately, for me this didn't taste anything like a cherry ripe, and o won't be buying again. however if you like the idea of coconut rough with cherry, this is for you!
