I grew up in a household who ditched soft drink sometime in the late 90's/early 00's, in favour of Cottees Zero Sugar Cordial. These days, I prefer 'full sugar' beverages (including the Cottees cordial varieties) in moderation over it's zero sugar counterparts, as there's a certain flavour (perhaps after taste would be a more suitable word) that unfortunately comes with artificial sweeteners. Despite this, I think the Cottees 'zero sugar' cordial range does a good job with regards to flavour, and keeping it as similar to the original as possible, something many if not most brands fail at achieving. With the recent absence of 'Pips' lime cordial at our local Coles stores, we have been able to rely on Cottees as a replacement. 'Coola Lime' and the 'Passiona' Passionfruit collaboration are my 'go to' flavours and at a sale price of $2.75, it's become a replacement that's still affordable. Cottee's offer a wide variety of flavours, with both full and zero sugar options available so it's safe to say there is something for everyone with this product. My only criticism- please bring back the 'Cola' flavour! (discontinued early 2023)
