Having had dogs for many years and have tried most brands I find Lucky Dog as good as any expensive brand. My dogs have always loved it whether dry or mixed with can food. It’s great value too which is a big bonus. Good varieties also, what more could you want.

My dog has been eating expensive high end brand dog food not available at supermarket as this was what was recommended to us when we adopted him. For 6 years we thought he had reflux. We tried another expensive brand as he was starting to be less interested in the first still. We introduced it slowly and still the same eating so I decided to try Lucky dog and he loves it. Only the occassional reflux vomit if hes been over active after eating and his poo is better formed. He loved it from first bite as well as the mini treats. Supermakets dog food doesnt mean its bad. My brother feeds his pure bread shih Tzu's my dog and they are healthy and lively at over 10 years old.

Over my 15 year old Maltese x Shi Zhu Maltsese Smokey's lifetime, I have tried to feed him dry food many times. I have alway fed him my dog wet food. Then I found out that it is crap, and bad for your dog. I started feeding him lucky dog, and a day later he was more perky due to higher energy, his coat was becoming glossier, and the skin irritiation I had put down to fleas was gone. Great dog food, I am surprised my dog will eat it, as he would never touch dry food before. He eats a full cup every night, and seems quite happy with it. Keeps well, package good size, as I don't like buying a new bag every day like I had to with other dry foods for previous dogs. Very tasty (or so my dog thinks; I haven't tasted it myself), dog loves it, healthy, and has a better balance of nutrients than anything else I have given my dog.
