I often buy cucumbers at coles. While it is fresh and crunchy some of them have slight bitter taste and few rubbery texture. this could be seasonal phenomenon. last time when I bought were quite fresh. As now they are packed individually it sometimes becomes difficult to know their freshness. Be selective when choosing loose cucumbers.
