I like Coles' 3 Star Pork Mince for its good value and versatile product. I found that fat content is an important part of enjoying some mince meals, such as hamburgers. 5-star doesn’t work for a lot of people, and whether 3-star is better is a personal opinion - the fat adds flavour. I recently did BBQ with this 3-star pork mince and the cleanup was epic in comparison to my preferred 4-star Pork Mince. Lots of flare-ups and spatters everywhere.

Fresh meat with a good balance of lean and fat, which gives nice flavour when cooked. Great for stir-fries, dumpling filling, or making meat sauces. Affordable price, but as it’s 3-star mince, it does contain more fat – ideal for those who don’t mind a fattier mix.
