The spring onion here is somehow too strong and not so sweet as it supposed to be. It’s also quite expensive. Anyways I still get these spring onions to make omelets.

These are reasonably priced and add a great flavour to your fried rice, scrambled eggs, stir fries, soups, basically as a topping on anything! The only thing is that they go off so quickly! I bought these only four days ago and they are already limp. My advice would be to buy them on the day that you need them so they are as fresh as possible. Otherwise, if you peel off the outer layer and you’re cooking them, you can still use them when they’re a little limp - I’ll use mine ASAP in scrambled eggs

it is very handy to have spring onions in the fridge. it won’t be main dish, but it’s good to have some green on your plate. I normally cut small cut and keep in the fridge for put on the salad, potatoes, or to spercle to the main dish.
