These Coles spring onions are honestly pretty solid. The bunch I got was nice and fresh, bright green tops and the white parts weren’t all slimy or dried out like sometimes happens. They’ve got that good sharp onion flavour without being too overpowering – perfect for throwing in stir-fries, omelettes, salads or just chopping on top of ramen. I like that the stalks are quite thick too, feels like you get decent amount for the price. Only small thing is they don’t seem to last quite as long in the fridge as I’d like – by day 5-6 the tops start going a bit floppy even in water. But if you use them quick they’re great. Definitely grabbing another bunch next shop 👍

Always fresh, giving a great flavour to any dish you cook with them. My favourite is a pork stir fry with greens and noodles and the flavour of spring onions matches really well. You can also cut the roots and regrow in water!
