Coles apple sauce is a smooth sweet condiment with many uses in cooking. It’s not overly sugary giving a balance of sweet and tart. The texture is smooth without any chunks. The only drawback is the flavour is a little plain, but as I use it as an egg replacer in baking, it doesn’t bother me personally. It’s a solid option, affordable and comes in a jar, convenient to keep on hand.
