Pineapples have had an incredible season this summer - and fruit is in abundance! The produce available is sweet, juicy and incredibly delicious - not to mention affordable! My local coles had been selling their pineapple halves for $1! The perfect summery snack! Great on its own, perfect in a fruit salad, or even thrown into a spicy taco!

Pineapples keep well in the fridge either whole or in cut form. I like the ones that have some yellow and not dead green on the skin, they are a lot more tasty and sweet.

Pineapple is delicious and sweet at the moment when bought from my local Coles The pineapple half is great for me as I don’t need to cut the pineapple in half when bought like this. Only $2.50 for half, I am happy with this price.
