Corn kernels with no added salt are an incredibly adaptable and versatile pantry staple. They have a natural sweetness and a subtle crunch. Corn kernels can be used in salads, cooked dishes, soups or even in their own, heated with a bit of butter added. I like the no added salt variety because then I’m free to add as much seasoning as I want, whilst keeping the sodium intake low. I bought this time of Corn Kernels specifically to make corn fritters and they turned out a delicious savory dish with a hint of sweetness.
