Tiger rolls are one of those bakery treats that feel a bit special even though they’re just bread. I love that crunchy, patterned top. That crackly crust adds such a satisfying texture that regular bread rolls just can’t match. If I had to mention a con, it’s that they’re best eaten the same day. By the next day, that lovely crust softens up. But fresh? They’re downright irresistible.

I recently tried Tigerroll, and it was a pleasant surprise! The outer layer is nicely crisp, and the filling is rich without being overly sweet. It’s super convenient to carry around, which makes it perfect as a quick snack during the day or after a workout. I also appreciate that it’s satisfying without feeling too heavy. Great tasting rolls. They are so soft and fluffy in the middle with a crunchy outside. Sometimes they are a little bit too hard and hurt your gums and if you leave them for a day, they become really soft. Overall, a great role. They are a little bit small though.

These rolls are perfect for any occasion. I put many different things in them but my favourite is caramelised onion chutney with ham, cheese and a red heirloom tomato. I also add salt and pepper for extra flavour. They are always extremely fresh once bought from the store as they make them the day of. Easy to freeze and save for later, once thawed they are still fresh. They come in a 6 pack, enough to feed a family of 4. They are very affordable and are my go to lunch rolls.

These tiger bread rolls from the Coles bakery are delicious. They are soft and are lovely both fresh and defrosted after freezing. I like to use them with an African curry that is served in bread, and I also finished off some leftover Turkish dip with one after I ran out of Turkish pide a couple of days ago, and it was worthy of the yummy dips. They’re also great with cheese and other sandwich ingredients on them.
