Plain flour is probably the best basic ingredient you could keep on hand for everything from baking savoury and sweet doughs, breads, pastries, muffins, cakes etc to thickening sauces, flouring work surfaces and so much more. I buy the Coles brand because it’s the most affordable and I always get good results. I don’t think you need to pay more to buy a brand name because this is a great quality product. I would never ever run out of it!!
