I recently tried high fibre white sandwich bread for a change from artisan style breads. I was pleasantly surprised how light and fluffy it was, bringing back memories from my childhood. I specifically wanted to have it with home grown tomato slices as I used to when I was a kid and it didn’t disappoint. I was also happy with the reasonable price compared with many bread varieties. Whilst I did enjoy a taste of nostalgia, I will only having this bread on occasion - though it is high in fibre and has a good taste and texture,, other style breads are more to my liking and health requirements.
