White rice is a staple and this brand is very cost effective. I do believe Woolworths' brand might be even more so, but I always grab this when I'm in Coles and can't be bothered to carry the 5-8kg version. Washing the rice and then cooking on the stove has always worked for me. It can bubble over a lot. long grain works well with all cuisines so that is the best pro I can think of.
