I buy iceberg lettuce regularly for everyday meals and it’s a staple in my fridge. The leaves are usually fresh, crisp and very refreshing, making it perfect for salads, sandwiches and wraps. It has a mild flavour that goes well with many dressings and ingredients, and it adds a nice crunch to meals. When stored properly in the fridge, it stays fresh for several days. Pros: Very crunchy, fresh texture, versatile, great for salads and wraps. Cons: Needs to be washed and dried well, and once cut it should be used within a few days.
