I've found the quality of these tomatoes range from excellent to poor. There are often skins still attached, and I find I have to look over the content of each can before adding to recipes.

Italian tomato paste is essentially just tomato paste no-frills and that’s what you want when all you’re looking for is basic tomato paste . Works well in Bolognese or lasagne, but I like to use it also in my butter chicken recipe recipes
