these are nice and still crunchy but they’re quite small and not as tasty as the loose ones. if you’re packing them for school lunches they’re great though.

They're good for eating fresh, throwing in a salad, baking into a crumble, or poaching. · Sweet and juicy: When they're perfectly ripe, they have a lovely sweet flavour and that classic juicy, slightly grainy texture. · Good value: A 1kg bag is usually a pretty affordable way to get your fruit fix for the week. TheNot-So-Good: · The ripening wait: The biggest challenge! They're often rock hard when you buy them. You have to wait a few days for them to get soft and sweet, and then they seem to go from perfect to overripe in a few hours. · Can be hit or miss: Sometimes you get a bag where a few are bruised or have a gritty texture inside.
