This is a fantastic pantry staple for quick weeknight dinners. The addition of basil and oregano gives it a great aromatic base, so I don't have to spend as much time seasoning my sauces from scratch. Pros: Very convenient, nice thick consistency, and the herbs taste fresh rather than dried out. Cons: The herb flavor is noticeable, so it might not be the best choice if you're making a dish where you want total control over the spice profile.
