I was disappointed that I could only buy coles brand buns, but they were delicious! they are full of fruit and toasted up beautifully, and I buttered them to enjoy with a cup of tea. not sure they’d be as good texture wise if you just ate them fresh (I’m guessing they were still warm when bagged). cheap at less than $4.50 for 6

these Easter buns are so good to eat. it’s a lot easier than making it at home and taste so fresh. price is decent too. they also put in a lot of sultanas which make it yummy. I always buy these buns each year. such a treat. no complaints

Coles hot cross buns I was disappointed, they had either frozen them or put then in the fridge. I've never bought hot cross buns that were either frozen or put in the fridge, they were very cold, I had to toast the buns which I prefer to have fresh and lightly butter them and gave them with a cup of coffee. Each bun had alot of sultanas in them. 2 star health rating. Good for vegetarians. Made in Australia.

not a fun of these hot cross buns, they were very doughy and lacking in flavour. there was minimal fruit and I won’t be buying them again

I think we are about 2/3 of the way to Easter since Hot Cross Buns came out for this season. I’ve eaten plenty of them already and there’s plenty more to go. These Coles Hot Cross Buns are actually very good with plenty of fruit and a lovely spicy flavour. Just add plenty of butter and they are pretty much perfect.

The fruit hot cross buns taste great. They are full of plump raisins and sultanas and they are good hot or room temperature. They are good value and remind me of Easter. Great for breakfast or as a snack. Highly recommended.

I love the traditional hot cross buns. I picked up 2 packs from Coles at 2 for $8. I freeze most of them and keep a couple aside for that day. yes, they're expensive but I only buy them a handful of times as a treat

Coles hot cross buns are soft, fluffy and generously spiced, with just the right balance of sweetness and fruit. Fresh out of the toaster, they’re irresistible with butter melting through. Consistently fresh and great value, they make Easter mornings feel cosy, indulgent, and deliciously familiar for the whole family always.

Soft, spiced, and unapologetically indulgent—chocolate hot cross buns are the festive rebels who looked at the traditional raisin version and said, ‘absolutely not’. They’re fluffy, rich, and studded with melty chocolate chunks that turn every bite into a warm, gooey moment of joy. Toast them and the chocolate softens into pure decadence; eat them fresh and they’re basically dessert disguised as breakfast. They’re perfect for Easter, afternoon tea, late‑night snacking, or inhaling straight from the packet before anyone else gets home. The downside? They go stale faster than your motivation on a Monday. Basically, chocolate hot cross buns prove that tradition is better with cocoa.

I like these hot cross buns. tastes plain with no sultanas. it’s soft and freshly made. it was cheaper if you buy 2 packs. you get 6 in a pack. lasts long and the kids love it. there’s a few flavors to choose from and it’s Australian made.

I like Coles' Bakery Traditional Fruit Hot Cross Buns for their rich, dry fruit flavour and soft texture. These traditional fruit Hot Cross Buns are soft, fluffy, and full of dry fruit bits that taste nice when toasted. The dry fruit flavour is just right, not too sweet or overwhelming. They taste great warm with a little butter, or even on their own. I’d definitely buy them again, especially around Easter.
