These are a classic Easter staple in our house. Soft, fluffy, and nicely spiced with just the right amount of fruit. they’re not too heavy or overly sweet. They toast up beautifully with a bit of butter melting into them, especially for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack.

I absolutely love Coles Traditional Fruit Hot Cross Buns. They are my favourite brand as they are soft, moist and delicious. To me the important part of a hot cross bun is the traditional dried fruit mix, and the only other flavour I like is the chocolate chip version. The traditional is my favourite flavour, though, and I usually buy quite a few packs and freeze them so I can keep enjoying them after Easter has finished.

Coles had so many different flavours of hot cross buns which is great for people with different tastes but for me I will always love the traditional, toasted with a bit of butter. the price is pretty good, which is a plus during this cost of living crisis. we can still enjoy an Easter treat without breaking the bank.

We have been having hot cross buns since February, trying different flavours, and we still can't have enough! Coles hot cross buns are made fresh, full of flavour. Perfect heated up, smeared with lots of butter! Yummy!
