Review of Coles Cheddar Cheese Block 1kg

the cheese itself is decent, the packaging is honestly pretty awful. It looks cheap and tacky, almost like they put no effort into making it appealing. The plastic wrap feels flimsy, and once opened, it doesn’t reseal properly, which is annoying when trying to keep the cheese fresh. That said, the actual cheese is fine. It is a standard mild cheddar, not too sharp, not too bland. It melts well and works for sandwiches, toasties and cooking. If you are after something gourmet, this is not it, but for everyday use, it does the job. For the price, it is good value, but I really wish they would improve the packaging. It makes the cheese feel lower quality than it actually is. I have started to cease purchasing coles named products because of them. I’m a visual eater and packaging can sway me sometimes.
