A classic freezer essential for a quick, filling meal. Pros: The pastry holds up remarkably well without getting soggy, and there is a generous amount of gravy and meat filling. It's a great value-for-money option compared to buying individual pies. Cons: They take a fair while to heat through in the oven if you want that perfect crunch, so you have to plan ahead.

We really enjoyed the generic version of these meat pies. They were tasty, with a good filling of meat & gravy. They baked well in the oven, leaving a nice crust. Perfect for lunch with a side chips & greens.

classic chunky Aussie meat pie has a golden flaky crust and perfectly rich beefy filling. This is a great recipe for homesick expats.

Excellent value for an excellent product. Very tasty, a great snack to have in the freezer, so quick & easy to heat up, in my house, from freezer to 3 minutes in microwave them 3 minutes in the airfryer, then they are ready to enjoy.

Crust is uniformly browned and golden brown around the side, somewhat lighter brown on bottom. Crust is flaky and tender. Filling is firm, smooth, and sufficiently cooked. Flavor is well-blended, with the filling characteristic for that kind of pie.

Great value for money. These pies are very nutritious. We have them with fresh vegetables and mash potatoes.

I really enjoy these meat pies and can’t fault them. We had ours with mash, veg and tomato sauce and I’d definitely recommend them and have them again.
