We had a tuna pasta bake for dinner tonight, using this John West Chunk Style Tuna in Springwater. John West is known for being a quality brand of canned tuna, and this can did not disappoint. It was delicious and was a good way of getting the goodness of fish without the hassle of cooking it fresh, something I’m not great at or keen on doing. There are also some leftovers for another easy meal.

i’ve never had an issue with John West tuna however I recently realised that the weight almost halves when you remove the spring water product is marketed as 425 g only 270 actual tuna The packaging is not particularly eye-catching, but the brand has a really good reputation so this is why I choose it

Tuna in Springwater 450g it is can eat for 3 of us. I like to bake it with pasta. I also make Tuna salad and make for my lunch. My girl is also like it.

The quality of this product is top tier, the tuna flakes are always visible and doesn’t just look mashed. I prefer the springwater tuna so I can add mayo. I have purchased other brands and often see discolored tuna flakes which is very off putting, however, I never see that issue with John west.

I love the original taste of the fish. Perfect for stir fry, or mixed with mayo and onion for sandwiches. The cons is probably you need to use can opener to open the tin. They can improve on the packaging.
