This does NOT contain plastic – I just called Unilever to ask about the micro particles in this product. I was assured they are not plastic and there is nothing in the product that causes harm to marine life or to the environment in general. As for using the product, it is a bit runny, but if you use it on a cloth or sponge it is fine. It made short work of cleaning my stainless steel sink. Just make sure when you close the lid you hear the click that tells you it is properly closed.
