However, they’re not without drawbacks. Being made from processed potato rather than whole slices, they lack the natural texture of traditional crisps, and the flavour can sometimes be inconsistent—some cans are punchy, others surprisingly mild. They’re also quite salty and moreish, which makes it easy to overindulge.
