always seen it at coles - and always curious but never got to try. finally decided to buy it along with other mochi flavors - i like it!! best when you leave it out for a while - and it becomes slightly melty. do like the lychee flavor more tho. it’s a little pricey.

Honestly, this one’s a flop. The mango flavour tastes more fake than fresh, and the texture is kind of icy in a cheap way rather than smooth and creamy. Feels like a budget sorbet knock-off that doesn’t quite deliver. Wouldn’t rush back for another.

surprisingly good for a Coles self serve treat! the chewy mochi and gelato-like ice cream created a great contrast. I prefer the passion fruit flavour since I like it's tangyness but this mango flavour is pretty good

Tried the Buono Mango Mochi Ice Cream and it was actually pretty decent. The mango flavour is strong and refreshing, and the mochi has a nice chew. Bit sticky, but that’s expected. Not the best mochi I’ve had, but for a frozen dessert, it hit the spot on a hot day.

love mochi. I like the plain type made by the traditional method of pounding by hand (or in a mochi-tsuki-ki), and I like the sweet type made from mochi flour. When I first visited Japan, it was around the time of the New Year. Mochi is a food very much central to New Year's dishes, because New Year's foods are made in advance and mochi keeps well without spoiling. Everything was new and different to me, but mochi, with its consistency of mozzarella cheese, felt very familiar. It was love at first stretchy bite!
