★★★☆☆ (3/5) I tried Pepero, but compared to Pocky, it wasn’t as good in my opinion. The chocolate coating is thicker and sweeter, which might suit people who enjoy a stronger sweet flavor, but I found it a bit overpowering. The biscuit stick is also denser and harder, lacking the light, crisp texture that makes Pocky so enjoyable. It’s not terrible, just not as balanced or refined. I’d eat it again if it’s available, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
