Colgate Savacol was recommended by my dentist and pharmacist when I had a dental infection. I had to have antibiotics that are known to have bad side effects if I came in contact with alcohol. Alcohol in mouthwash also dries the mouth out so this product, being alcohol free, was perfect for my needs. The mint smell was also great in hiding my bad breath from the infection. The only drawback of this product is that it can’t be used every day. It is only for short periods of time or it can discolour your teeth.
