I've never been a huge fan of tomato based pasta sauce, but when I smelt my partner using this, I had to give it a try. It's so delicious and smells great!

Goes well in a hearty spaghetti bolognese. I decided to put both mince & meatballs in this batch for a change & it was amazing. You can also pack it with veggies - great if you struggle to get kids to eat veggies or you just need to make it stretch a bit further.

I like Mutti Parma Sugo Semplice Basil Pasta Sauce 400g for its rich and authentic flavour. This pasta sauce is made with intensely flavoured ripe tomatoes and basil to give a genuine, sharp and complex flavour to the finished sauce. One of the best pasta sauces available in the market. It's really delicious mixed with spaghetti, it's really delicious.

Adding basil pasta sauce to meatballs meets all of my imaginations and expectations. Depth of flavour, easy to cook and okay value when it's half price. Basil smell and taste is great. Tomato sauce is runny which is nice to cook down with more cheese. Works out to be great 👍 👌 would recommend the sauce

Clean, bright tomato sauce with a gentle basil lift. Not sugary, not heavy, just a solid weeknight base that takes well to butter, parmesan, or a splash of cream. Doesn't try to be fancy, but it's reliable and always tastes fresh.

yummy basil and onion pasta tomato sauce, up all your veggies in the pan get him soft pour in the sauce, simmer for as long as you want reduce it slightly serve with pasta yum. has a nice ting to it without being overpowering, I always add a lot of cheese

We bought this because it was on sale. Also because it was one of the booster items for the week. The size is a bit smaller than we are used to. Therefore our usual portion of pasta turned out a bit dry. Taste-wise, we did not find this in any way superior to other cheaper brands to be honest. It is alright as a pasta sauce, but we will probably not purchase again at its original price.

this pasta sauce has a great basil flavour but it is not too overpowering. The amount of sauce in the bottle is proportion to a family meal. There is a strong tomato flavour and it is a good base for cooking. You can taste the basil and onion in the recipe. It is easy to stir into through some pasta for a nice quick meal.

this is a beautiful jarred sauce. it delivers a fresh an full flavour and is great standalone (the best on pizzas!) or incorporated into a bigger sauce recipe for a flavour boost. I don’t often have fresh herbs around and this sauce is such a great middle point for flavour and convinience. only con is the price point - I only purchase on special

Matty Palmer basil pasta sauce is a really tasty tomato base sauce that you can use through your pasta. You can top it on schnitzels. It’s basically just tomatoes tomato paste with sugar onion and some basil. It’s made in Italy quite an intense flavour as advertised and he’s absolutely delicious .

Another Mutti sauce I use when making pasta dishes at home. No additives or preservatives. 80% tasty Italian tomatoes, very rich and flavoursome. Perfect pantry item when short on time or tired after a long day. Boil the pasta, add this sauce & top with grated pandano. Quick and simple yet tasty.

This is easily one of the best jarred sauces I’ve tried. Unlike many brands that are loaded with sugar and artificial thickeners, the Mutti Simply Sugo actually tastes like fresh, sun-ripened tomatoes and fragrant basil.

Not bad, but I prefer the plain Mutti sauce I picked this up to give it a try, but I much prefer the plain Mutti sauce with just tomato and salt. This one isn’t terrible, but the basil didn’t add much for me, and I found the flavour a bit less clean and simple. Still good quality, just not my favourite in the range.
