a great alternative if you want something different to pasta and it soaks up sauces very well. only takes a minute or so to cook as well. I have used it in pasta bake type dishes as well and it works in place of pasta in those recipes too.

This is nice cheap gnocchi. It cooks up well and, while I wouldn't consider it top quality, it's definitely more than good enough for home cooking.
