This is the most delicious and creamy butter you will have. It is magnificent. I would highly recommend letting it defrost a little before spreading on your bread because it is quite thick and can tear your bread. It doesn’t spread the best, but it tastes incredible and is worth it.

Lurpack is always available in our home. We use it to put on toast, sometimes when pan frying steaks, etc. It's the trusted brand we go to.

Once you’ve tried this product, you will never eat margarine or other butter blends again. A smooth and luxurious butter that is lightly salted and rich in flavour, Lurpak is fantastic on sandwiches, melted on a cob of corn, or used in baking brownies or cookies. It really is a superior butter product that enhances the flavour of bread, baking or as a topping. Perhaps the only negative point about this product is that it never lasts long. Because of how easily it spreads, it can be very easy to be heavy handed and before you know it, a quarter of the container is gone. It would be great to have larger sized containers. This Danish-made product may be in the higher price range, but you really get what you pay for. This luxury, creamy butter that has become a family favourite and anyone who ever tries it asks what brand it is. Lurpak is very easy to find in the butter section in supermarkets. It comes in a premium sliver and navy blue container that immediately grabs your attention as a top-drawer, quality item. No matter how expensive groceries become, I will never substitute Lurpak butter for something less expensive.
