I like McVitie's Digestives Tops Lemon Biscuits for their delicious taste and effective digestives function. It is absolutely amazing if I eat two of them together but with their backs sandwich together so chocolate on the outside.

Delicious cookies. Love all the flavours in these including chocolate, strawberry and dark chocolate also but the lemon are just on another level, they taste exactly like a lemon meringue pie!

Nice little bite size biscuits to have with a cup of tea or coffee. The lemon topping is creamy.

I was expecting a zesty and overly sweet lemon jam on top of a dry biscuit but was pleasantly surprised by the flavour. They remind me of having a creamy cheesecake but in biscuit form. Maybe that's due to the lemon flavoured yoghurt filling. The lemon is subtle, the base is crunchy and the digestive overall is not too sweet. These biscuits are tiny though! More like a bite sized snack rather than a standard biscuit or cookie. Perfect with a hot drink for afternoon tea.
