Mr Kipling Unicorn Fancies are such a fun and tasty treat! The cakes are super soft, the icing is sweet without being overpowering, and the little unicorn decorations make them extra special. Perfect for parties, afternoon tea, or just a cheerful snack. Kids and adults both loved them in our house. They look adorable and taste amazing.

Mrs Kipling’s Unicorn Fancies are a wonderfully fun and colourful take on the classic fondant fancy cakes. Presented in an 8-pack, these square-shaped, fun sized, sponge cakes are topped with a delicate layer of cream and completely coated in vibrant pink and white icing. In terms of flavour, these cakes are unapologetically sweet — exactly what you would expect from a fondant-style cake. One of the most impressive things about this product is just how fresh the cakes taste. Despite being pre-packaged, the sponge remains incredibly soft and fluffy, almost as though they had been baked that very same day. Mrs Kipling products consistently seem to retain their freshness far better than many competing brands, and the Unicorn Fancies are no exception. I think the portion size is worth noting; whilst they are indeed a sweet treat, the pack comes with 8 fun- sized portions. I believe this helps with remembering to be 'treat wise'. Interestingly, when I shared them with a friend, he couldnt believe just how much they reminded him of the homemade cakes his grandmother used to bake for him as a child. That sense of comfort and nostalgia is something quite special for a modern packaged product to achieve. Also, bonus points for such beautiful packaging! If you've never seen them, think girly, pastels (lilac, baby pink & the such) with unicorn decals. It is clear that alot of thought has gone into not only the presentation of the packaging, but the product itself. Overall, Mrs Kipling’s Unicorn Fancies are a charming, fresh-tasting and visually delightful sweet treat that successfully combine playful presentation with comforting traditional cake flavours.

I tried these for the first time and I am hooked. unfortunately I have no photo or video as they didn't last long enough but I highly recommend these. the only downfall is they go too quickly as they are supper soft and melt in your mouth

I buy these as a cute little treat for myself every now and then when they are on special. Super cute individual little cakes that are coated in sweet icing all around them with a little cream in them. Remind me a high tea cakes!
