These are an absolute favourite sweet treat in our house when I’m feeling time poor but need a delicious grab and go option! They are soft & rich in flavour, and a perfect snack size for the lunchbox. I always get them on discount or special, usually 1/2 price so will grab a few at a time. Delicious!

You get a soft chocolate sponge with a creamy filling and a layer of icing on top, so it’s quite rich and definitely on the sweeter side. The texture is light and fluffy, which makes them easy to snack on, but they can feel a bit sugary if you have more than one. Good with a cup of tea or as a quick dessert, just don’t expect anything too fancy, simple, nostalgic, and does the job when you’re craving something chocolatey.

these individual packaged cakes are so convenient to just put in a lunchbox or handbag. they taste great as well. chocolate slice taste nice but I personally like their lemon one the best.
