These used to be really good value but they have gotten incredibly pricey the last year or so. $43 for them seem steep when it was $35 about 14 months ago. Aside from price they are good, no weird taste and do the job

Metamucil Fibre Caps are good and a reliable brand. Tablets are tasteless, 160 tablets

When purchased in bulk, they are great value. Can be pricey in smaller bottles but they are a great source of extra fibre without the horrible taste.

I have taken Metamucil fibrecaps daily for over a year now, and I have not felt better. Bloating and feeling uncomfortable at times has all disappeared. Great product and excellent value.

I fully understand how these are a much more convenient option than the Metamucil Powder as that can be difficult to drink quickly enough without the Psyllium husks choking you. They would also be very convenient for travelling I am sure. HOWEVER:- they are very expensive as you can need to take as many as 2 - 7 capsules up to 3 times a day in a jar that consists of 160 capsules. It says to start with one dose (so up to 7 capsules) then go up to 3 doses. That means you can eventually go up to as many as 21 capsules a day - that’s roughly only 5 days worth in a jar of 160 capsules for the cost of $32.50 when not on special. Now, if you have bowel issues you would pay anything I know, however they didn’t help me to be honest. ****NB**** very important:- make sure you have plenty - and I mean PLENTY of water with each dose (and by dose I mean every single capsule not a dose like 1-7 tablets is a dose - a dose is one capsule - so if I took 7 I would have 7 glasses of water) or you may get in trouble. I am not a Dr so please see one before taking these or your chemist. *My opinion is my personal experience and not medical advice so obviously I cannot be held liable for my personal opinion however I would advise you ensure to seek medical advice in order to look after yourself. I personally found this product a little troublesome with my body but I do have health issues so I don’t want to be unfair to the manufacturer. Perhaps it is just best to err on the side of caution and seek medical advice before taking like any medication*
