These Aldi Paper Shopping Bags are quite useful for carrying both shopping and other things in. They take up to about 6 kilos but they are limited in what you can carry in them. For example, if they get wet they will disintegrate.

this bag was helpful, I got it because I did not have one with me. However, when I was carrying the groceries out of the car, it broke from the side even while I was supporting the bottom.
