Aldi’s Light Shredded Cheese is convenient and good value, with a nice melt that works well on toasties, pizzas, and pasta bakes. The texture is fine and it doesn’t clump too badly in the bag. However, being a light cheese, the flavour is milder and less cheesy than regular varieties, so it won’t wow you if you’re after a strong, rich taste. Great for those watching fat intake, but flavour lovers might want to mix it with a sharper cheese.
