I bought this iceberg lettuce from Aldi as it was on special and it is my favourite kind of lettuce. It is the lettuce variety I grew up eating and, although it might be a bit unfashionable these days, as well as not being as nutritious as some other varieties, I really like it. It is refreshing and nice on sandwiches, in salads and in other dishes such as tacos. We ate some in a side salad with a tuna bake and it was fresh and tasty.
