I’ve cooked and eaten penne pasta many times, and it’s one of those simple pantry staples that I always keep on hand. For me, it’s a really reliable pasta that works with almost any sauce, which makes it great when I want an easy meal without too much fuss. What I like most about penne is the shape. The short tubes with angled ends seem to hold onto sauce really well, both inside the pasta and on the outside, so every bite has plenty of flavour.
