The 1kg frozen chips from Aldi are a solid freezer staple. They cook up crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, especially in the oven or air fryer. Great value for the size and super convenient. Pros: good texture, affordable, easy to cook. Cons: not quite takeaway-level crispy.
