these were quite good quality, but it takes a lot of checking and searching these days to find a bag where there aren’t rotten or mouldy onions in them. at aldi, the quality seems to be better than at Woolies or Coles. however, these were fresh and tasty and served their purpose well

The one kilo bag of brown onions was good overall quality. The onions were a decent size and mostly fresh, with dry outer skins and very few soft spots. They had a strong flavour when raw and became nicely sweet once cooked, working well in a range of dishes.
