very versite root vegetable. cost effective when purchased in multi pack. I would suggest eating I them raw like apples, but diced finely with carrots and celery into a mire poire for casserole and soup base - these onion s are a pantry staple. i keep mind in the bottom drawer of my fridge on a separate paper bag to the potatoes as cross contamination of gases can cause them to break down faster. should you end up with very old onions with green shoots, you can plant the two halves with separate end with shoots and get two onion plants. recycle ♻️
