What can I say? It’s an essential staple for home cooks. They’re so versatile and and are a must-include in many recipes. I’ve just started getting into the slow cooker so can’t wait to see how the recipes turn out. But in the past I’ve also loved to make some french onion soup. Downside is they make me cry.

A must have in any kitchen. Good slice, chop or mince. I add to sauce, stir fry or into salads, can't do without. This current batch is satisfactory.

Aldi onions are always good value - Range of sizes which is useful for different dishes. Last a long time in a darkened cupboard.
