strong yet sweet flavour, best cooked on the bbq with oil they turn out juicy with such a great caramelised flavour with sweet undertones. they really elevate and bbq dish. also great in sauces. they are not op pungent just right for a onion

always a good addition to meals, I've noticed more lately that onions aren't that potent anymore therefore less tears which is good for me!

Mostly good quality, get the odd onion with some mould under the layers or softness to the flesh. Benefit of hand picking loose onions as opposed to buying them in prepacked bag, you can choose the good onions. Staple product that is often cheaper when purchased in 1 and 2kg bags but sometimes I prefer to buy a few loose onions if I don't think I'll use a big bag before they go off.
