Solid option when you don’t feel like cooking. Juicy, flavourful, and makes dinner easy. Tasty, convenient, saves my sanity on weeknights. Sometimes dries out if you don’t grab them fresh. The cost has gotten expensive.

You can’t go wrong with the Coles classic homestyle a roast chicken. There’s nothing to cook at home and you need to get something on the way home ready to go grab a chicken.

This Coles Classic Homestyle Roast Chicken can be a hit or miss. While i like it being 100% Australian, RSPCA Approved, and made with fresh ingredients, i sometimes find it dry, with uneven cooking and an odd flavor. I also buy Woolworths' roast chicken, sometimes getting better moisture and lack of an overpowering stuffing flavor. Ultimately, individual purchase experiences seem to vary by store and even by the specific chicken. It can be hard to tell of one is getting a good chicken or not till you bite into it.
