The product does say it’s oil free so I don’t know what does it but it leaves a super heavy oil like residue on anything it touches. So for this reason I never use it on my skin, it’s also full of silicones which isn’t something I want to use in a cleansing product. That’s just personal opinion. But what I do use it for is cleaning my make up brushes. I have a dip and spin brush cleaner , I had some of this on hand when I’d run out of micellar to clean them and Wowzers did this melt everything in those brushes. Did it clean them off and make them ready to use, absolutely not. But it did literally melt all the built up product in an instant. I dipped each one, spun it around in it and you could see it melting down. I let the product sit on them until I’d done all my brushes and then cleansed with a much heavier soap. But this definitely made them much softer and didn’t allow the harsher soap strip the brushes like it normally does. I loved it! I continue to buy it purely for that!
