5-Star Photo Review of Carmex Lip Balm - Original Stick 4.25g

I’ve tried a lot of lip balms over the years, but I keep coming back to the Carmex Classic Click Stick. It’s one of those products I didn’t expect to love as much as I do, but it’s become a staple in my bag. What I really like about it is how fast it works. My lips can get super dry—especially in winter or if I’ve been out in the wind all day—but this stuff sorts it out almost instantly. The menthol and camphor give it that cooling, tingling feel, which might not be for everyone, but I personally love it. It makes my lips feel like they’re actually healing, not just being coated in something waxy. The SPF 15 is also a huge bonus. I don’t always think to protect my lips from the sun, so it’s nice to know that this balm has it covered without needing to use a separate product. The stick format is super easy to use—no mess, no fingers involved. It’s also surprisingly long-lasting, both in how long it stays on your lips and how long the actual tube lasts. If I had to nitpick, the scent is pretty strong—kind of a medicated smell—but I’ve gotten used to it and even find it comforting now. It’s definitely not a sweet or fruity balm, so if that’s what you’re after, it might not be the one. But if your lips are cracked, sore, or just constantly dry like mine, this really does the job.
